Awesome day out there...

Launched with my bro about 10:30, it was a bit foggy and overcast, but an hour later it burned off and what a gorgeous day! We met up with a local who was fishin off his kayak before we got there and we ventured around the point together. It got a bit windy and we scratched up a few here and there, then headed back in the cove around the kelp. My bro was looking for the big boys with swimbaits, I went with the ol shrimp flys with squid, and also switched to firetiger 3" grubs...

Final score:

Me - 8 including 2 cabbies and assorted rockies. (5 kept)
Bro - 2 including one greenling

We had a great day on the water, and we were blessed to catch fish while we were at it! For my bro's first time, he might be spoiled starting out here, but secondly, he may be hooked on kayak fishing!

Glad you & your brother had a good time OTW and catching fish too.  Thank you for the report and pictures Roger.
