Glad to see you are settled. Idaho is my favorite place, of course that's where I was raised.
Couer'd Alene (lake and town) is a cool spot. If you are a golfer you have to play the floating green at the course at least once.

Fishing should be off the hook there. If you go South to Lewiston, there are huge runs of Steelhead, and some real nice sturgeon are found in that river as well. The lakes are always good producers of trout.

Just down river on the columbia, there are huge sutrgeon, and the salmon runs are legendary.

Have a good one and keep the reports coming.

Stoggie

Good to hear from you guys! I'm already missing the salt. Seeing everyone's halibut pics is killing me, and this is the first time in years I won't be able to make a rockfishing trip. I'd love to make Albion, but it isn't in the cards this year. I think we ought to meet up at the Moutcha Bay salmon tourney next year! Don, I know you went one year. Here's an excuse to drag that picture out again!  :smt044

Great info. When you get a chance try Lake Pend Oreille. The Sandpoint area is great and I would love to get some feedback on Yak fishin Lake Pend Oreille.

My 2 brothers live there and I love that place.

Hey Randall, is one of them the one mentioned in the warning sign behind Jay?  :smt005

Right on J, Ill see you guys in Chico!

My wife is a teacher and has to finish off the school year, so she's still in California. I fly down to drive back up to Idaho with her next month after her job ends, but on the way back up I figured I would stop by the Sierra Nevada Brewery in Chico, and as it happens Ben and Anita will be there too! So it will be great to see them again.

Too bad I can't make it a longer stay. It would have been nice to get in another quick trip into the salt!

Hey Jay, glad to see you are settling in up there.  Looks really nice up there, must be good for the soul to leave the rat race.
