I would be stoked to share half a salmon with one of those awesome creatures.  To get that close on a kayak would be thrilling.  I probably would have given him the rest of the fish.

LOL..if you were on a yak it would be dumb not to give him the rest of the fish..Not a good time to argue ownership

 The orca and dog thing-  That orca may have only been curious, but it  may have been thinking lunch . Just trying to lure the dog a bit further out. Killer whales have been seen eating dogs, bears , moose , sea otters, etc. No kayakers yet tho.

If you read the txt on page they say that it was a friendly orca, always playing around and such until it was hit by a tugboat and died... :smt010
