...offer your 14 year old daughter $100 if she catches a fish on her own cast and set to get her to go?  I am thinking it will be $$ well spent?

That's pretty high.  I remember when I was 6 my dad offered me 100 bucks to open a bank account.  Then when it was my birthday he would offer 100 bucks or a party.  Of course I took the money.  Then whenever I got a solid 20+ dollar bill all the way through the middle of high school, he would convince me to put it in the bank instead of getting the new reel, buck knife, etc.  By the time  I got my license I used my life savings to buy a pickup.  So, monetary incentives for kids aren't a bad idea b/c I'm a pretty good saver now.  :)
