I understand that to fix a pinhole leak in these tires you melt it closed. I've never done this before. Before I attempt it, any advice? The hole is very tiny.
I've looked at the wheeleez site, couldn't view the video though.
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

what i have seen is you let all the air out pinch behind the hole and use a soldering iron to melt it, i it i would use some 5 min epoxy and call it good.

My Roleeez came with a package of small chunks to melt to seal a hole.
See if you can get some of that stuff from the mfg.

mine did too.....i got a hole in mine too......the way SS described it on the money.

i used a putty knife and just put a small chip of the stuff on the blade and heated it until it began to melt.

Then pinched the tire hole(to expose the hole better)

Then slap the blob onto the tire and hold for a second.  It worked and has not leaked for over two years.

if you need some of the chips( i carry them in the car) if we cross paddles soon, i got your back bro!

Practice it first on a swimbait  :smt002  In fact, i've repaired a ton of my swimbaits with the soldering iron  :smt004

I'll have to try an iron for swimbait repair. I tired using Superglue but it sucks.

this trick has saved me major $$$$ over the years. A lighter may work in a pinch, but the cheap soldering iron is bomb for swimbait repair.

This is a good thread on the tire repair. I don't think I got the "repair chips" with mine either. I'll have to dig around in the man cave & see for sure.

Its polyurethane Juan and it will melt back together. You dont need the extra chips unless you make a mistake and get it too. hot. Car bumpers are made of the same kind of plastic for the most part. I use a little tiny butane torch to heat the plastic then use a piece of flat metal to "spoon" the crack closed. If you have a tiny soldering iron, use it. Go slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Pushing the hetaed material towrads the center of the hole aera you will bridge the hole. I wouldnt squeeze the tire. Locate the hole and mark around it with a pen. Then use the iron to push towards the center. I had some chips with my new wheeleze but my garage is so full of crap I cant even find the replacement axel pins.
