Hey all,

A quick report on an Ab dive off the Yak this morning along the coast south of Jenner. Water was nice but off color with 3-5' of vis. Dove a spot 15-20' of depth and did not see an ab. This is a good sign for trophy hunting. Places like this don't give up many abs but they are big. Sacrficed a known ab producing spot to try a different area. Didn't pay off this time but it was good to get the first dive of the year in.

Just heard a diver has perished this morning off Pt. Arena, probably while I was diving by myself. Praying for his family. No other details. Off to Humboldt this weekend to look for giants. Stay safe all during this weekend

Nice job on the early season trip! 3 to 5' visability sounds scary to me but I'm a total noob to ab diving.
