I saw Jedmo's rod holder setup on his Revo and decided to make a similar one.  I used plastic pegboard 16"X16" from Walmart, a couple of Hobie rod holder extensions and a three rod Berkeley rod holder.  It's all held together with large plastic zip-ties.  I didn't want to use any materials that would rot or corrode from salt water.  The zip-ties also kept everything flexible enough so the rod holder extensions could be pushed in without binding or breaking.  Once the extensions are in, everything fits nice and tight.  Here are a couple of pictures and some pictures of a few rock cod jigs a friend of mine in Oregon made and sent to me for use at GS-4.  The copper tube ones are lead filled for weight and the reaction between the two metals is supposed to create electric current and attract fish.  The rest are butter knives and hand pured and painted lead.

I like it, I think I'll make one for my revo.

Thanks,

Have you had luck with the pipe jigs?  I made some but haven't used them much yet, due to lack of confidence, I guess.

Only tried the pipe jig once at MBK last year and got it hung up on a rock and broke it off.  I'm looking forward to trying them again at Shelter Cove.  Maybe they will be the trick that wins the new yak?

Very slick rod holder!  Thanks for sharing the pictures Martin.
