need ride to Alaska (Fairbanks)

Hello California!

I'm going to Alaska, and need to be in Fairbanks by May 1st. I'm seeking a ride there, or somewhere close, and hoping to leave the NW by mid April. I'm quite flexible, as long as I get there May 1 to start my job. I have one backpack. This will be my second time making the trip.

I have a valid driver's license, passport (Canada friendly), gas money, food money, and camping gear. I'm currently farming on Orcas Island, WA. I can get to i-5 or another reasonable meet-up spot.

My friend Nate is from Orcas Island. Pretty small close knit place from what he says.

I know he has some sisters...

Not at all. I just didn't realize how popular the Ferry trips were. There were openings for April but none had room for my truck.
