Hi All,

Anyone going out on Saturday?  I was thinking of either going out to Big Break on the delta or out of Oyster Point to make a try for some hali's.  Looking for a bit of guidance here.  Thanks!

Michael

Wind forecast might drive your decision.  The halibut are beginning to show at OP.

Yep, keep an eye on the wind at OP - it's a b**ch if it blows there.

Yes, I'll be keeping a close eye on the WX for Saturday.  Fortunately, Oyster Point is not too far away from me so I should be able to tell what the wind will be like by simply walking out my front door.  I'm thinking of leaving early (6:00 AM).  If the wind looks like it will be > 10 mph I will probably end up joining Ernie at Paradise Beach Park.  Thanks for the info.

looks like Ernie's taking a raincheck on Paradise (per his post).  So, are you still planning on fishing Saturday, and if so, where?  I'd like to join you.  Let me know if you've decided on the place so that I can pack the right gear/bait/lure, etc.  Thx!

The weather report for oyster point suggests 12 MPH wind tomorrow, for oakley (which is near big break) the wind speed is 8 MPH.  Either one looks like it will work tomorrow, but big break might allow us a longer day on the water.  I am leaning toward big break at this point unless anyone else has other ideas.

If you live near OP it is a long drive to big break.

Okay, I'm a bit skittish about the wind at Oyster Point tomorrow considering there is a fair amount of wind now as I stick my head out my back door.  It looks like I be launching with kmstorm64 from the site posted here: http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php/topic,22010.0.html to avoid the parking and launch fees at the marina.  I expect to arrive there around 7:00 AM.  It would be great to have others join!

Bink,
I live in Palo Alto close to Ikea and will be glad to join you later. I have classes every Saturday and I have 6 more Saturdays of 13 to go.
Hope you do well tomorrow.
I will be waiting for your update.

Quick update for anyone else who intends to show up.  Looks like we won't be there until 8:00 AM.

Since I've had my mind on Halis, I'm gonna go to Paradise Park and launch around 8am.  Good luck to you guys.
