Launching late, probably around 9 since I have to drive my little bro to Gardnerville.  gonna do a troll around this lake that I've never been to.  Off around 3 to pick him up.  There are probably some big trout and some browns in there..looking to hook up my first ever brownie!

There are some monster trout in there. I've had success w/gold Jake's Lures. You might want to check road conditions first. Last I heard they still hadn't plowed the access road.
Searching is half the fun: life is much more manageable when thought of as a scavenger hunt as opposed to a surprise party. -Jimmy Buffett

thanks Jay.  Info from woodfords is that the road from 89 is now open.  The back road is open as well, I'm sure I can find my way there with my little subie AWD as long as its not a muddy mess.

ICR is a perfect place for a yak as long as the wind does not blow.  last time I trolled there in my yak I had to make right hand turns all day as my rudder was in-op  (I have a Hobie Pro Angler).  the dirt road from the back way might be a mess if it is raining.  800 lbs. of large bows and browns were planted maybe 3 weeks or so ago.
