I messed my sunglasses up a Melonies, they went lens down into gravel. AND for GS4 I was looking at salt water low profile type reel for shallow water. Looks like I can score both if I get an ABU over $169. They have a rebate to get a free pair of Wiley X sunglasses.

Good, Bad, Ugly? Should I just keep looking?

personally i love mine

overall i think the reel is overpriced at cabelas though.  not sure how much the sunglasses are worth to you.  i buy all cheaper sunglasses since i lose mine constantly.

i paid $163.99 for my revo inshore off ebay with free shipping brand new. and i got 10% back on my purchase through bing.com cashback.  looks like they are around $170 on ebay now.

I haven't used mine yet (got it last week) but I was able to get the Revo Toro for $199 (incl shipping and no sales tax) on ebay. Double check the expiration date on that sunglass deal. Last I looked it expired in '09

Got mine off of eBay  < 1 year ago for about $145. It's a nice reel and I like it a lot, but if line capacity isn't a real issue I'd say the Daiwa Coastal Inshore is better engineered for the salt and sand. I dumped both in the surf one day. The Daiwa sealed out most of the sand. The Revo sucked it up like a vacuum cleaner. The salt also attacks the Revo finish in ways it doesn't the Daiwa, so you need to be meticulous about rinsing it. I'm sending the Revo off to Alan Tani because I just can't get it back up to snuff.

Now, if you're not prone to dumb ass mistakes like me it could be a whole different story...  :smt002

I love my Revo Inshore too. I love it so much that I ended up buying two. :smt003 But then again
I have a sickness of buying two of everything. :smt005 :smt005

As for the Wiley's, I haven't been overly impressed with them.  if your doing to get free glasses I would look at something else.

Thanks for all the info!

I've been shopping around...

I ended up liking "Smith Shelter Polarchromic Polar Brown" and found them online for $65.

I think I'm getting the SHIMANO 6'9" TERAMAR TMCX69MH 15-30LB CASTING ROD and putting a Revo Toro 50 on it.

I have three revos, two inshore casting and on revo S and to me the revo s doesn't reel as well as my shimanos, but the inshore casting is really smooth.

My 2 cents,
