I hit my beloved lake Chabot twice in a week and  got the big goose egg both times. I thru pretty much everything I had at them, and paddled the whole lake both times to no avail. I had been doing pretty well in the last month, but I guess my luck was bound to change. Lots of green muck all over the majority of lake, I'll blame it on that. I also hit my favorite Striper spot by the Richmond San Raphael bridge ( first time on yak in the bay). Water visibility was poor and I had no luck with my bucktails/and swimbaits. It was however a glorious day on the bay. Just when you think you got it figured out, whamo three outings and three skunk sessions. I will be back out there as soon as I can, got to keep putting time on the water.

I didn't do any better at the "other" Lake Chabot.  Skunked 3 times targeting Catfish, can you believe that?  :smt003  Anyway, our lucks bound to change soon as the water is warming up!  Thanks for the report Brian.

Where did you launch to get near the bridge, I was over there the other day and it looked like everything was locked up pretty tight?

I've been riding on the skunk train now for a while myself. Way to give it a try
though at least BA. See you on the water soon.
