I decided to give the south nets a try since the area will be closed on the 15th.

Lots of shore fishermen.


And boats.


I had to work hard for my one fish, a 22 incher, looks like it was previously caught as someone had ripped off it's maxilla.  Ended up trolling 7 miles for the one and two hits.  Still a nice day to be out on the lake.

Only Fish.

thanks for the report. Gonna have to run up there someday. Might bring my ladder with me in case its too windy to kayak fish.

Took me a few to figure out what you meant.. hehe.. Are they all sitting on ladders out in the water?

Ive never fished pyramid lake but Ive got a ladder or two in the garage that could be pimped out..   Stadium seat on top, rod holders.. etc.  :smt003

My in laws flyfish and camp there almost every year. Someday I'd like to join them
but on my kayak instead of the ladder thing. Thanks for the report Pete.
