I want to find some clearer water, so not sure where I am going. Trip pending wind and if I can get out of my driveway because they are forecasting snow in my area.

Jeff, you do know the bassmasters elite is going on today - sunday right?  there's like 90 boats + tv boats + watchers running around the stockton/tracy area right now.  lots of them are fishing the mildred area from what I understand, so i'd be cautious.

jeff, there is some clearer water out there and fish too,but mostly have to do a lot searching around for it too! the walnut grove/ south mokeloumne r. and sloughs i heard have stripers around rite now especially sycamore slough!....but that would be a far paddle from a yak from the nearest marina! EVER HEARD OF THE PORT OF SAC OR STOCKTON? EASY TO GET TO AND LAUNCH WITH MINIMAL CURRENT AND THEY HOLD LOTS OF FISH! GIVE THEM A TRY!
