As an OIF(4&5) Veteran, MAKO Speargun is loaning me an 80 cm, twin 16mm band speargun and some other items to get me started in the sport. I've been kayak fishing for years but never took the opportunity to spearfish. Looking for anyone free to dive Carmel, Pacific Grove, Monterey area via kayak or shore. Looking to start off in 20-40 feet of water, probably following my anchor line down if in a kayak.

Live in Seaside/ Old Fort Ord... Open most days (commercial fisherman no set schedule).
Have a good spot in Carmel-by-the-Sea I go kayak fishing, would love to try to dive that spot. More than willing to try other spots as well.
