I was invited to go Sturgeon fishing with my friend in Vallejo from his boat.  Fished around Mare Island in the morning on the outgoing tide for nada.  Move to another spot close by in the afternoon and one of my friend caught a 48" Sturgeon on the incoming tide.  Here are some pictures and video of our fishing trip.

My: My: Have you no pride? A teak deck! Where's the real fishing boat? Tupperware craft, is only real way to fish. Sorry about that, just some jealous sour grapes. Good going guys. dave...

fishing for these beasts has been getting better, these were caught within the last few days, first one at the ships and the other off the bank on the sac river

Love the excitement and the coaching in the background Sonny. Are those the
same group of people at the pizza pirate? Anyhow, I'm getting the itch again on
sitting on the yak for hours waiting for Mr. Dino. I am 2-0 and counting. Hopefully
to get one soon cuz the hali is around the corner.

Yes, 2 of them were at the Pizza Pirates that night.  One of them just bought another boat and I'm helping him with electrical wiring for his boat.
