Hey all,

There are like a bazillion (number close to the national debt) sizes, manufacturers, and styles of drift chutes out there and I need one.

Any recommendations, personnel favorites, or ones to avoid?

Thanks!

Not sure what brand and size I have, but I'll check when I get home. I love it. I think I got it from Hook1.

Some advice - don't let you're drift chute keep you from calling it a day when it's time. I've made the mistake of being over-confident and drifting out a lot farther than I should have because the chute was slowing my drift. By the time I decided to call it quits I was quite a bit out from the launch and had to paddle back in some pretty fierce winds.

I'd just say to be sure and get one with weights on the bottom and floats on the top.
