Halibuts are here in Malibu.
Decided not to use the 5/8 ounce kroc and switch to the full 1 ounce.
I did get bit on the 1oz, but I lost it in the kelp or the fish dropped it.  Either way, I lost.
Couple minutes later in the same area.  WHAM!  Les gets a 10lb 28" Halibut
Later in the day I got one at 5lbs.
Yeah, I know.  Malibu is too far for you Northerners.  But look at it in a positive perspective.
These images are to get you hyped up to go out and get those barn-doors.
