So who can tell me when the Rubberlip Perch bit heats up in Tomales?  I have two people telling me two different things.  One tells me I allready missed it, the other says April.  I would love to get the kids on to some of these little scrappers!
Thanks!!
Christian

Ive been to tomales many of times and IMO,the perch, silvers and redtails, bite from march to june! Ive been there when it was crappy, been there when it was ok, and ive been there when it was Fish after fish! Just depends on the tides and if your there when their there!! Try dillons beach near the rocks, done very well there on some Nice redtails before! I always catch my fish on blood or plie worms and havnt really tried anything else to be honest! but shrimp or sand crabs for sure should do the trick if u can get some!
