I came across Jumping Jack Trailers on the internet and they look pretty flippin cool.

Anyone have experience with these little trailers.  If I were looking for a tent camper, I'd seriously consider one.

They have them at Sportsmans Warehouse in Rocklin.
I thought they would be pretty cool until I looked at them more closely.
IMO there's not much sense of having a trailer if you can't store anything inside of it.
The tent takes up all the room. You can store your things on top but if you want to 'pitch the tent' you have to remove everything from the top. That kind of takes away from the 'convenience' of it all.
I would expect a lot more for $5500.
You can get a great trailer at Home Depot for under a grand. Buy a totally kick @ss tent for under $500 and be able to store and access your stuff as you need it.
Plus imagine all the things you can buy with the 4K you saved.

I looked at one and agree with Tote and they try and kill you on accessories.
The trailer is super nice(too heavy) but the tent felt like it would be a sail on a stormy night.
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

All the accessories were nice though wern't they?  Someone worked hard on that advertisment campaign.  And yes, not being able to sore anything inside,in my mind does take away from using it.

I saw one at the forebay and it looked great! It held up in the wind but IMO its way too expensive!
