1964 Cortez motorhome. Front wheel drive with a slant six and a Clark forklift transmission! Came into my shop the other day for a burnt exhaust valve. Took me about two hours to pull the head off. Very tight space. It is being fixed up so the owner can take it to Burning Man this year. The exterior was painted with house paint and a paint brush.

My friend's parents have one of those rusting away in their backyard. What with a steel roof, I think the whole ext body is steel, that one you have there looks to be in great condition. Love the diamondplate trim. jim

Don't let the trim fool you, its covering up rust and rot. Once I get it up on the hoist ill post pics of the under carriage. Scary stuff under there. You can see into the rv while underneath!

It was pretty much a slant 5 before they brought it in. The exhaust valve in the number one cylinder was about 25% burnt away. Ouch
