Didn't have the time or desire to get all my s**t ready today, so I'm out.

Probably not a good idea to be sitting out in the cold and rain after just getting over bronchitis anyway.....

Good luck to all, and I may show up for the afterparty.

In Loving Memory of Mooch, Eelmaster, Shicken, and Cabeza De Martillo

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

Im in! Just filled the truck up and got all the gear ready. just got to pick up bait! With that Rv derby going on 2MARO AS WELL, would it be wise to pick up bait here in Sac before heading out there? Was thinkin about stoppin in Vellejo for bait or Loch Lomond! But i thought i heard Loch Lomond doesnt open till late in the day! What you guys think?

For Loch Lomond baits, always good idea to check and reserve your baits early in the morning!

I think a 8-lb anchor and 100' rope should be enough there for tomorrow.  You can use lighter 5-lb anchor for shallower water < 20 ft.

Small craft advisories for tommorrow am on the bay. If you havent anchored and fished in rough water before make sure to check conditions carefully and think. This is from NOAA forcast for the SF bay Saturday.
