I tore mine last year and I need to get a replacement. Does anyone know where to get one. I searched it online and found one oddball website that had one but I was wondering if anyone knew of a store around here (I live in Rohnert Park) that carries them or a site online that they have done business with and would recommend for me.

try calling

clavey http://www.clavey.com/ or
or outback adventures http://www.outbackadventures.com/
all are somewhat local to you and may carry them.

as for online, i think that austinkayak carries them as well. they are reputable.

if you choose to order them from ACK send me a PM and i'll send you a coupon.

I'd try the shop where you bought the boat. Monterey Bay kayaks may be able to source one for you.

I'd like to replace the soft rubber hatch on my older 140 with a neoprene/hardshell hatch but I've been too lazy to build one.

I bought it (the kayak) used actually. I just called wind toys to see if they had a cover. The guy there said he would sell me a broken one that he had for $50. I almost laughed at him. :smt044

You may find a closer source, but I bought a replacement T140 hatch from Monterey Bay Kayaks in Santa Cruz last year. They might be happy to order and ship you one, if nothing else turns up.
