Hahah, I just read about that today too and remembered where I had an old ping pong paddle lying around,  seems like a good little trick to keep on target when lake fishing.

Great idea, but for small light kayaks in lakes and ponds with little no current.

I think there is a guy out of Florida who is making a "Power Paddle". It's basically a brace that allows you to use the forearm as leverage.

He still uses his other arm to help though.
