Tried Whiskey from 7:00 until about 1:30.  Threw mainly moving baits, no plastics, so that I could better enjoy my new steeze reel.  I did not get a bite or see even one fish break the surface, not even a baitfish.  It was glassy the whole time, and warm enough for a  t-shirt.  It's nice to fish without gloves on.

Glass. Nothing up against the riprap? What a nice day though. Next time, eh?

Sorry to hear about the skunk.  Bassin' has been tough, only a few bites a day since the water muddied up.  I am getting a better bite in the later part of the afternoon for bass.  How was the visability?  Were you throwing for bass, stripers, or either?  We'll have to hook-up sometime.

I was surprised to see the visibility was around 5 feet, I thought it would be muddy.  I saw three bass boats, with lots of ads on the sides, like straight out of a Pro tour, and they were all throwing shakeyheads, jigs, and spinnerbaits at the rip rap with no luck.  I bet it was better in the afternoon, with the sun warming up the rocks, but I had to pick up my kid from playschool, so I'll never know.

Nice pics of calm delta waters :smt007 and thnx for the details on the recon misson :smt002
TheDelta has not been kind to me(SOiHATEitRIGHTnow),but I know there are many of hog holding tight.
I've fished for kitties from shore there (pre-Yak) and it was pretty shallow. It was during fall and there were SALMON rolling and people catching them.

Nice glassy water.  Sorry for the skunk.  Thanks for the report and pictures Chris.
