Launched at the ramp around 8am, off the water by noon.

Beautiful day on the river. Sunny, warm, no wind and very few boats. The water is muddier than last week.

We launched and trolled up river towards the hwy 50 bridge. I used a k14, Eric trolled a M4 flatfish. No hits, nothing. Talked to some of the boaters, nothing for them. When we got to the bridge, we switched over to jigging while we drifted back down to MP. Nothing. Saw one hook-up by a guy anchored under the bridge and he lost it as the fish got near the boat.

Final score: Eric caught a clam on his Gibbs minnow. I lost a Gibbs to a snag. Still made for a great day with my son.
