AQUANFEST 2010!!! JUNE 12 & 13 @ FOSTER CITY LAGOON

Eric, I do realize your tournament falls on the same weekend - just so you know, I did not choose this date. Vince, the owner of the shop made the decision. The same date like last year = on the opening day of rockfish season as well....unfortunately.

I just hope we don't hurt either attendance outcome as both events are good for the sport.

I have volunteered to represent NCKA at the Aquanfest this weekend on Saturday. I will have my Trident 13 on display and will be talking to upcoming new members of this great sport of kayak fishing. If anyone is in the area please stop by .

Late report from the Aquanfest, Kind of slow in the way of kayak fishing interest, I think I talk to about 4 people all day about fishing and how great the NCKA web site is. I did get a couple of are you nuts, what’s the point, that’s not kayaking. But all in all a relaxing day, I did notice that the standup boards where getting a lot of attention and the sea kayaks too. I did get to meet the ocean kayak rep. Mike Mowrey he came over to thank me for representing the Ocean kayak brand, a nice guy. Here is some pic of the day I did not get to wonder around because I did not fill comfortable leaving my rig unintended. I did have a good time representing NCKA and would do it again, till next time.

THanks again Pat!!! And thanks for posting the pics! Eric B and I dropped by...but we were a little too late When we got there - around 4:45PM - everyone was packing up. We did a drive by but did not see you on the lot so we took off. Sorry we missed ya!
