Took the young'un and fished Saturday 1/2 and Sun 1/3. It took a bit of poking around to find a bite on Saturday. Got into some fish and boated 2 apiece between 17 and 20 inches - loosing two more at the boats - then things died off. The boy caught the biggest and yells, "Dad, it's towing me down the river!" Sure enough he took a little ride  :smt006 . We left all those to swim for another day.

Returned on Sunday, trolled out to the sweet spot, and hooked a 22 incher retrieving the troll. Let him go too, thinking we had a full afternoon of action and I wanted to switch to a bigger lure. Not! Got only one more in 3 hours, it was in a different spot - nailed him casting into the reeds - as soon as I closed the bail - whamo! That was fun. Kept that 18.5 incher for dinner. Also got 2 short strikes on the longer swimbait.

Were it not for the white swimbaits we would have thought the place was empty. No takers on hair raisers, bait, other swimbaits.

Didn't do a good job on the OTW pics. Here's something - including one on the plate for Sonny  :smt002:
