and if you believe that . . .

Conditions pretty much sucked, actually! Barring rain, just about every other element was stirring at the camp this afternoon. Oh well, managed to chalk up a couple hours of sturgie time, anyways.

Picked up some ghosties & muddies from the Ol' guy & met Saltydog at the launch around 2pm and decided to go ahead & give it a shot there instead of moving to the other launch around the bend where it might have been a wee bit calmer. One thing in our favor, the wind was blowing onshore so at least we wouldn't get blown across to Richmond, or even worse, Pinole!  :smt002

The wind swell & chop made for a wet day in the saddle and didn't help much with detecting a bite, either; although, a fat & feisty bullhead did get my attention and, if nothing else, reminded me there was some sort of life down there after all.

Not the most ideal day but still not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Damn Aaron thats some choppy conditions alright. Not fun. I am glad you enjoyed yourself though. I think the last time Ifished with you the wind was up at the Ft too.

i threw up on myself the last time i was there, and it looked very simular.
Pinole would be the better of the two, if you were to blow over. Aim for around the Point Pinole pier and shoot for the shit refinery. I'll pick you up and take you back to CC.  :smt002
it's only a half hour drive.
