hey if anyone is in the doran beach area later this afternoon for low tide or tommorow and you come across two promar collapsible traps one with blue cordage and the other with purple and or weighted lines in the same colors or a blue milk crate please give me a pm. took a big digger in the surf this morning, was launching out of the cypress parking area, thanks cameron

thats why i posted, hoping for a RH miracle, and as a side note, what happened to me this morning could have been alot worse than lost gear, but was dressed for immersion and had practiced self rescue enough that when i had to do it it was so second nature that i was back in the boat before i even knew that i was doing it, unfortunately i was still in the surf zone i got knocked out again and dumped the boat and swam back in, so please everyone please practice your self rescue and dress for immersion, cameron

   Cameron, there can be some treacherous wave action right off those trees. That's where we do our kayak surfing/crashing practice on occasion. Maybe I can talk the dogs into a walk monday evening on the beach. Did you leave word with the rangers?? If  we go I will ask around. Glad you had the skills to keep yourself safe, Allen
