So whats up with the Jacks. Are they just uber horny young males (imagine that). Do they actually milt/spawn and die or whats their story?

Jacks just return home really early. From what I remember they are only out at sea for about 2 years or so. They spawn just like any other salmon and their offspring can grow bigger... As long as they stay out at sea feeding longer.
