Sorry for the time between postings, we are in Los Barriles and limited access to email etc.  Had a blast fishing this morning, up before dawn and on the water just north of town.  Caught and released 9 Sierra to perhaps 6/7 pounds on light tackle!   Overcast today and 70 degrees, perfect for fishing!  Was 62 this morning at 5 am and the water is much warmer, so a delight to be on.  Love trolling for Sierra, no snags to worry about, and fun fighting fish.   Will get some pics of the fish next time, left the camera home today!   Jim

Rained here this afternoon, which was great!  Nobody out on the water except for me and FAC!  Hooked 5 sierra, a huge Manta Ray and a small Cuda just before sunset and right in front of our casita!  You guys would LOVE it here!

There is a deep canyon about 5 miles north towards Pescadero, you may try your luck for larger prey there.
