delta striper

Was wondering if anybody has fished for striper on the delta lately? I am heading up their tomorrow and I wanted to know  what type of baits I should be throwing like top water or live bait. Any info will be helpful. I will be fishing out of beacon harbor. Thanks in advance

Can't go wrong with a Rat'l'Trap for stripers in the fall.  If you want to throw topwater, try a spook.  Both of these lures will probably get you some bonus largemouth.  Other lures to try might be broken-back Rebels, hair-raiser jigs, or spooning.  Good luck!

I agree.  Last year was the first time I fised for stripers in the Delta.  We jigged for them using heavy Rat'l'Traps.
