 i will be moving to crescent city in about 7 months and will look to buy my Frost kayak. this boat will be for both ocean, and river fishing . two problems i have never owned a kayak secondly this is a small town and i do not want to over pay. what price range should i be willing to accept as a good deal on a used yak and approx length should i consider. thanks in advance just gathering info

I just noticed that I cut off most of the paragraph I meant to post in reply to yours :smt009. If you purchase a kayak from us new or used we will include a kayaking lesson either at our Humboldt bay shop or chasing steelies down one of our local rivers here. The rest of the reply was just about our local kayak fishing crew and some of the outings and events we do around the Northcoast. We're always happy to help a fellow kayak fisherman even if you don't paddle a Malibu :smt003

OK now i need to know whats different about a Malibu. i take you do not rent Malibu. what river would you suggest for a steelies.
