Starting in the fall of next year, we are embarking on our biggest restoration project. We are going to restore about a mile and a half of seasonal wetland. This wetland will benefit all of the wildlife that live on and around the property. The biologist says that mule deer, waterfowl, antelope and just about everyone will benefit from it. We are also hoping that the sage grouse will move back onto the property.

The wetland project is estimated to cost $160,000.00 to $180,000.00 and we have to come up with half of that.

If you are a member of Facebook, you can easily help us on this project. Chase Trust is donating $5,000,000.00 to non-profit organizations by Feb 15. The recipients are determined by which non-profits get the most votes from Facebook members. All you have to do is become a fan of Chase Trust, search for the non-profit and then vote for the non-profit. We would really appreciate it if could give us a vote. Next week, they are handing out 100 $25,000.00 donations. That would really give us a good start toward our $90,000.00 goal.

You can vote for up to 20 non-profits. It is fast and easy. Please help out any non-profits you are interested in. Hopefully, one of those is Coon Camp Springs, Inc.
