Knights Landing Salmon.

OK I'm ready to launch a yak off my boat in the area of Knights Landing. I'm sure there are Salmon I've been scouting this area since the opening Is there any advice about the area?

Try jigging that seems to be the trick up here in the Chico area .Find the deep holes and drift through . Good luck .

Went up there couple of weeks ago to check it out.

Must have been 40 trailers in the ramp lot. Lot's of pro guide types.

Walked down the stairs from Stingray's and talked to a couple of guys anchored by the Hwy 113 Bridge: Kwikfish(chrome) not even sardine wrapped.

Seemed fairly slow the day I was there, only heard of one fish in the lineup at the bridge.

?If you get one on near anchored boats how do you keep the beast from dragging you across others lines, anchors etc?

I would use grenades, probably those green ones with the square grid pattern on the outside.

Sorry, just a little frustrated, I am 0 for 6 on salmon out of the kayak on the sacramento.

No rain today for us ! Missed us this time more coming . So they say ... Today would have been a good day to go .
