Hi Scott:

I'm out all day Saturday, but was thinking of a giving it a go on Sunday.  Good luck, looking forward to your DV report.

Pardon me if I am looking at the wrong one but I think its close to perfect condition, WX for the weekend is by far the best I've seen in weeks

Yeah Plan A was LM with Mooch on Sunday and it is doable but couldn't convince my wife who is still concerned after the fatalities last week. I don't lose any WAF going to DV with the dog.  :smt003 Going to save my WAF hit LM or Muir after this storm passes. PM me if you want to hookup.

Make sure your boat is clean and dry inside and out so you can pass the inspection. A few grains of sand or moisture and they won't let you launch. Call me on 69 when you are OTW and I will tell you the secrets of DV. BTW, if you want to catch stripers, bring a few jumbo minnows which you can pick up in CV on the way there. I use artificials but secret agents will increase hookups. I might be there as late as 8AM depending on how long I walk Molly.

:smt011 I've been wanting to hit the lake again but the honey-do's are getting in the way. I'll be stringing Christmas lights on the house and setting up the tree in person, but in my mind I'll be trolling Lake Del Valle with you.

I'm in the same boat as you Jay....or rather....I won't be in a boat this weekend. I'll be finding/chopping/decorating my tree and stringing lights on the outside of the house allllll day. I'll think fishy thoughts for you guys though.

I was at Del Valle last Sunday.  Trolled all day, it was REAL SLOW (i.e., no bites in four hours).  People fishing from shore south of the launch ramp were getting some trout on Power Bait.

Good luck.

Green power bait if you want to take something home. For me it is Rapalas and kastmasters only. I only fish on the move.
