Tried to change my Avatar- didn't work

I went into my profile and tried to upload a new pic and add some personal text to my avatar, I put in the pic file info from my computer, and typed in the text, hit change profile, from the time it took and the activity I saw on my connection it looks like the pic did upload, and the text now shows on my posts, but the avatar pic didn't update.

After all I got a sturgeon to show !!!!!!

Is it me or someting else?

Yeah, Bill, thanks.  I was starting to feel like I hadn't changed my underwear in a couple months or something.   

I was trying to change mine back to my monster sturg too, thought it was me.

I tried to upload an avatar but wasn't able to (image size is 273k, less than 1 MB).  Using an 'actor' avatar works, but won't allow me to upload my own.  please help.  thx.

If you don't hear back with a fix, maybe a PM to Bill would be a good idea, this is a pretty old post.
