Humminbird 565

Anybody have the 565. It looks like a good FF for the price. 640 by 320 is much better than most in that price range. I don't think I need color, - or is there something about color FFs I'm overlooking.

I may be getting one from santa. Is this the GPS model? If so, does this model have an external gps antenna. I am thinking the internal antenna models won't work with the sonar shield.

Mine worked fine, when I had a sonar shield    Still haven't mounted it to the XF though, only got to use it like 5 times.  Vast improvement in graphics over my Eagle Cuda 250.

no the 565 is not the gps model.  the gps models are the 580 series or the 380 series.

external gps antenna in the shape of a circle.  sbd mounted his on the right side near the sonar shield.

I have a 565 and have had no problems with it.
