Left Ballena Bay (Alameda) around 0730 with my buddy Billy. As we approached the GG Bridge, the swells were getting bigger and the southerly wind was picking up and we were bouncing around in a 30' boat like a toy.  We got to Pt. Bonita and decided to go through the Bonita channel rather then cut through the north bar because the swells were huge and the southerly wind was picking up big time and there were some breakers at the north bar. We got outside to our string in 130' of h2o and we started to pulled the 1st pot, we just installed our gas puller and it was a blessing. The 1st pot yielded 1 limit, we had to tossed some legal ones back to grow a few more inches. We pulled the 2nd pot and it was all over for 2 limits. It was pretty exciting day out there and we have couple friends bailed out on us this morning because of the weather. Overall, I was pretty stoked operating that new gas Pot Hauler like I was on the Mini Deadliest Catch episode with water spraying all over the deck while you pulling the pot up. Here are some pics.

Sweet!  Thanks for the report and picture Fred.
