Coho head soup

I filched this pic off of coastside. Yummy, No?

Yummy as long as that isn't a CA coho and they left enough of the collar and check to pick at.

Hey Ben, I think its a pic from someones Alaska trip. Still got that Caper and gettin' ready for steel.

We actually had a bumper crop of coho here in Oregon and Washington this year so I thought it might have been one of those.   As for steelies this winter, I'm looking forward to it, just another month or so before the first hatchery runs start showing back up.  Of course we have summer steelhead runs here as well, I just never had the time to chase them this summer.

Buddy called yesterday steellies in Idaho record numbers showing. Said his arms were too sore to go out 2 days in a row never caught so many in 20 yrs.
