My Eagle FishEasy 245 doesn't fit in the Sonar Shield of my new T13 Angler, so it looks like I have to upgrade FFs now, too. I have heard good things about the Hummingbird 363 - does it:

A. Fit in the T13's Sonar Shield?
B. Work out of the box, or do I need to buy an additional transducer?

Any pointers on what/where to buy would be great!
Thanks,
Andrew

A. yes
B. sort of..if you want to through scupper it, you need a new transducer.  you can exchange with humminbird (likely for free).

if you want to just goop it inside of the hull then the standard one will be fine.  just be aware that the through scupper transducer will drain slower and also it will be more difficult to wash sand/junk out of it.

here's the link for the transducer exchange http://www.humminbird.com/support/FAQ.aspx?faqid=66

if you call the number they will probably know what the product number you are looking for is, but if not it is the XTH 9 20 P. unless the 363 is the quad beam but i am pretty sure it is not.

Thanks Ben. So if I plan to use this unit on 2 separate kayaks, I should get the through-scupper, right? I plan to sell my FishEasy if this is the case...
