I think I see a small window of oppurtunity. A bit on the windy side but I am desperate to get out at least once this year.

Yeah, that's a pretty small, sucky, sloppy, window so take care,

Where did you get that detailed forecast?  looks like a NWS text but I've never seen that one.

Agreed. That looks far from ideal, so be careful. I'm getting the same itch to get abs, crabs, and fish in the same day. Maybe mussels, too.
May the fish be mighty and the seas be meek...

Thanks for the concern guys. I am never afraid to just hang out on the beach if conditions aren't safe....its what real men do. Anyone else want to join me for a bbq on the beach and maybe a dive? The report is from stormsurf.com. Its still a ways off so maybe the forecast will improve  :smt044.

I can't make it on Sat but if winds come down on Sun, current forecast is Sat 15-25 and Sun 5-15, then I'm good to go. Only 3 more abs left to catch so 'gotta make em count'. Otherwise I'll wait until the 21-22nd. jim

Good Luck Bri. Just where were you thinking of going to? I am crabbing and diving on a friends boat Sunday but Sat is open. I only have dove twice this whole year. I have eighteen left on my card. DOH!

You probably know the spots far better than I do. Pick a place and time. I'll be there with Mooch. I think its goes to be a very small window so somewhere sheltered might be the ticket.

I was just on Pacific waverider and the swell forcast for around the northern part of Sonoma is 7-8 ft on Saturday. So thats that. Waiting to see if something changes. Keep me posted. I know of one spot thats really protected. Its abit of a haul down though. The plus is there are porcinis all over the place this time of year.
