We took Carioca out for her first maiden voyage for the the crab season. Left Alameda around 10:30 am. Smooth ride going out until we rounded Pt. Bonita. It was really lumpy going out and the swells were building as we worked the first pot. Pulled the 1st pot that was @ 120' h2o yielded 2 limits and half of the them were commercial size on a 24hr soaked. Just finished steaming them and now just waiting for the girls to get home so we can feast on these delicious creatures. First hauled of the season it's always sweet. Hopefully we will be out there again on Sunday morning. Good luck out there and be safe. Pictures to followed.

Congrat on your crab limits.  Thanks for the report Fred and looking forward to see the pictures.
