it has been a long time since i paddled my yak without fishing poles. I am not even sure i can do it. It is a scenic 5mi paddle from valley ford to a secluded beach north of tomales. Once there we are gonna barbecue chicken to go with my homemade chimichurri and sangria. It is a great spot to walk the beach and watch the ocean rage. The wind and tides are good as long as we get outta there by 6-7pm. All are welcome. I will be launching about 8:30 -9:00am

We're there today.  It's raining in the morning then the thick fog moved in around 3pm, can't even see the Hog Island or shore.  Make sure to bring a compass or GPS to be on the safe side.

That's a great paddle. I did it once & camped out on that beach.
