Battery charger

I must admit I know nothing about electricity   so I must ask the expert.
can I charge my 12v that I use for my FF
with a regular car battery charger?

That charger is not ideal for this battery for a couple reasons.

Charge rate too high.

No logic to detect when full to switch to float/standby mode.

 I would put a Battery Tender trickle charger.  You're trying to avoid heat when charging.
The above post is correct. You need a "regulated" charger that will shut itself down when the battery is charged.

 Keep in mind that any of the smaller, trickle chargers will take a day or two to recharge the battery.
