Dr., that's exactly the reason I opted for cods on my first yak fishing trip. Easier to catch and good eatin as well. I just asked a friend who used to be a chef in France to teach me how to steam fish a cod and men, was it sooo gooood. Chopped ginger, young onions, sesami oil, soy sauce, etc. Fishing score is going up, I just need more dialing in at the spot where I'm fishing, attain my limits, then I'll probably graduate to hali fishing with some of you guys, fish the ARW, Capitola, BH and HMB. A little at a time, a bit further and more daring the next time. I am enjoying this yak fishing. And enjoying the inputs from NCKA'ers.

Thank y'all.

Rog,

Sundays are church days for me, morning and evening. Pretty busy, Sunday school, choir practice and all.
Weekdays, I can file a PTO once we agree on a day, except Tue and Wed. So it will be Monday, Thursday or Friday on weekdays.

How about your next trip to ARW? Any plans yet? Or you're still working on that first hali and enjoying it?

Danny
