Is the rain runoff going to ruin vis this weekend? We are supposed to drive up Thursday and dive Friday and Sat. I don't want to drive if it's going to be mud.

Hi Yakers:

It's going to be Chocolate water at VanDamm! I'll be in
Ft. Bragg to visit my Mom but, I'm bringing my Dive gear
just in case. Worst case , I'll go for a Big River paddle for Fun and
a Cup of Joe from Moodies.
         Is it still Abs Season?

Abs are through November. Will it only be bad around the river mouths or will everything be murky?

i think the vis everywhere is going be a little worse due to the recent storm surge. The vis closer to the river mouths will probably be a little worse than that due to run-off. if there is a plankton bloom/red-tide, forget-it.
