Took the FW grand prize kayak out today for some stripers at Brannan Island.  Launchd at 0700 and trolled 3 mile slough for nada.. Soaked some minnows again nada.  Trolled back up 3 mile slough and again nada.  No fish but the kayak worked great, and the GPS tracked my route 7 miles in the wind :smt009.  On the way home I was still inching for "Fish On", so I stopped in Locke and hit the Delta meadows.  9 LMB later the day was not a waste of time.

Congrats again on your new boat. That's so sweet having everything you need
included in your new kayak. WTG on the LMB.

Cool report Hambone!  Bummer about the striper skunk but nicely done on the LMB.  Any size to them?  What was the hot bait?

Maybe next year Erik needs to throw a camera into pot as well. :smt044

Yeah with all the new gear I forgot the camera. The LMB were small and caught on a 6 inch brown worm, and one on a crank bait.  The crank bait was bigger than the fish.
