Sorry we missed meeting everyone. We showed up about 8:30 - the HMBK guys came to batton down the hatches around 9:00 in prepration for the high winds. We got a few hours in on the water until the wind started picking up around noon or so.

We didn't do so great on the sardines - just not in the right spots at the right times I guess. One of the guys fishing from the pier caught a legal size ling on a sabiki - sardine eats sabiki - ling eats sardine and gets caught up in the hooks. Appararently a similar undignified end almost came to a halibut.

All in all a great day spent with the young'un,  who's ready for more.
